# Events

The Events API is a RESTful service that enables cities to receive both real-time and historical curbside event data, as well as monitor sensor statuses. It collects events from various sources, such as company data feeds, street sensors, payment sessions, company check-ins, parking staff, and other city data channels. This data can be integrated with the Curbs API for spatial and temporal analysis, and it is utilized by the Metrics API for performance calculations.
